Robert Bidney is a singer-songwriter whose messages
are as strong as his melodies.
A seasoned performer, Robert Bidney connects with his audiences through infectious energy and emotion. He has shared the stage with a number of top touring artists including Joe Jencks, Deidra McCalla, Tret Fure, Buddy Mondlock, Sam Robbins, Wyatt Easterling and more. Bidney's been a guest artist at The Island Hopper Song Fest in Fort Myers for six years, was a showcased artist at the Cape May Songwriter Conference in New Jersey, a guest artist at AmericanaFest in Nashville and guest artist at the Cutting Edge Music Conference in New Orleans. He has recorded three studio albums, with a fourth on the way. Additionally, an eclectic array of artists have covered his songs (from country to pop to gospel to rock). Plus, Bidney has written and produced a number of award-winning national radio and TV jingles. Further, he has written songs, pro bono, for The Epilepsy Foundation and ARC Angels non-profits, used for their PSA's. And, Bidney has written a musical.
Thank Goodness, Bidney’s third album features eight songs inspired by the recent changes and challenges we've experienced. This album was among the 50 most-played albums on Folk radio upon its release and was on the Top 50 Americana / Roots radio album and singles charts for 8 consecutive weeks.
Bidney is a winner in the “Music for Humanity” Songwriting Contest with his song, “It's All About The Love” and is a finalist in the International Acoustic Music Awards Songwriting Contest under the “Folk/Americana/Roots” category for his song “Rush Of Hope.” His song, “We Can Do Better” was chosen for the 2025 Woodstock Peace Summit by the Braver Angels organization. Bidney is a juried artist with The Music to Life Foundation, founded by Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary fame. And, he's an artist member of The Listening Room Network.
